Welcome Bishop Cerie, Thank you Bishop Rudy


Bishop Ciriaco “Cerie” Francisco is now the new bishop of the Manila Episcopal Area (of which STPPACE is part) who was recently re-elected for another term as bishop of the United Methodist Church which was announced during the Philippines Central Conference held last November 28 – December 4, 2016 at Aldersgate UMC in Angeles, Pampanga  and will start in his office on January 1, 2017.

Bishop Francisco is currently the resident bishop of Davao Episcopal Area which was his first term as a bishop when he was elected in the year 2012. He was a former district superintendent in Bulacan Annual Conference and has been a suppoter of STPPACE and even while STPPACE was then the Laguna Quezon Mission District. He will preside this coming 9th annual conference session of STPPACE to be held on February 27 – 28, 2017 at the Jesus Reigns UMC in Pila, Laguna. He was a friend of Rev. Igmedio Domingo Jr., currently the pastor of Sta. Rosa UMC and the former district superintendent of then the Laguna Quezon Mission District. They were both members of the cabinet under the leadership of Bishop Solito Toquero former bishop of the Manila Episcopal Area. He is married to Restetita Victoria, have three children and three grandchildren.

Bishop Rodolfo Juan, cjuanurrently the bishop of the Manila Episcopal Area is assigned in Davao Episcopal Area effective January 1, 2017. This is his third term as a bishop and the first one was when he lead the Baguio Episcopal Area. Bishop Juan has held many churches and pastors in STPPACE and spearheaded the United Methodist Church – Disciples of Christ a comprehensive discipleship and evangelistic program. Bishop Juan is married to Dr. Lurleen Lapuz and have two children.
