“Proclaim God” – Youth prepares for Christmas Institute 2016

myf-ciltAs Filipinos are already beginning to play Christmas carols at the beginning of September as it begins the so called “BER” months (months ends with ‘ber’), young people of the annual conference makes preparation for the much awaited youth event the Christmas Institute this coming December 2016. This years’ CI is entitled “Proclaim God” adopted from the national UMYF program for the whole country.

STPPACE UMYFP announces two contests which will be held prior to this years Christmas Institute. One is the T Shirt Design competition open for all young people. The deadline submission for T Shirt design is on October 30 this year. And the other is Song Writing Competition which the deadline of submission is the same with T Shirt design competition. This competition encourages the young people to use their talents for the ministry and the glory of God.

They also announces discounts for early registration. Registration fee is P 450 if young people will register before October 31, and P 500 if before December 12. Registration fee from December 13 to event proper is P 550. This will encourage the young people to avail of lower registration fee.

There will be Christmas Institute Leadership Training which will be held on October 31 to November 1, 2016 at San Pablo UMC in San Pablo, Laguna which will make preparations for the said event. Young people interested to be part of the staff should attend in this event. They will also release Bible study guides in this event.
