Bishop Rudy Juan along with his team composed of some district superintendents, pastors and other lay people visit districts in his Manila Episcopal Area Caravan program and visited STPPAC at Pacita UMC in San Pedro, Laguna where some pastors and lay people of the Laguna District where present with Conference Superintedent Rev. Francis Pera and her supportive wife Gemma last November 15, 2015.
The team of Bishop Juan is accompanied by district superintendent of Cavite DS Emmanuel Juan, DS Enrico Esguerra and DS Maximo Gabriel of Manila, DS Ferdinand Jose of Metro District of Rizal Conference who was a former missionary in Quezon Province. Former pastors of STPPAC also joined the bishop in his visitation namely husband and wife Rev. Aser and Felicita dela Cruz who also former pastors of Pacita UMC, Rev. Harvey Lucena, former pastor of Atimonan UMC. Rev. Joseph Flores former DS of Quezon District now on loan and is assigned at Las Pinas UMC in Manila and Rev. Joel Capulong former district superintdent of Laguna District presently assigned in Jesus Reigns UMC are also with the visiting team.
Along with Conference Superintendent Francis Pera are with Rev. Dexter Cebalos of Pacita UMC and some pastors and deaconesses and lay people welcomed the bishop. Marilyn Santos the District Lay Leader of Laguna District and member of Pacita UMC and Danny Corpuz the STPPAC United Methodist Men president and BOT chair of STPPAC were two of the lay people welcomed the bishop. It was at the last day of the Heart Warming Experience Seminar of Laguna District where the bishop and his team came have fellowship with one another and strengthen each other for the programs and activities for the church and for God’s glory.
The visiting team of bishop came from the Rizal Conference at Marikina UMC in Marikina City which is part of the said conference and some pastors joined bishop’s team visited the STPPACE at Pacita UMC. The team also visited Sta. Rosa UMC with its administrative pastor – Rev. Igmedio “Bong” Domingo Jr. the former district superintendent of then the Laguna Quezon Mission District now the Southern Tagalog Provisional Annual Conference.
