Young People prepares for Christmas Institute at Atimonan UMC

Last Oct. 30-31, 2015 the officers of United Methodist Youth Fellowship of STPPAC with some volunteer staff held their Christmas Institute Leadership Training CILT at the Atimonan United Methodist Church in Atimonan Quezon together with Pastor Vicent Pacto their adviser, Rev. Nazzer Oliveros of Atimonan UMC, Rev. Marven Chavarria of Biñan UMC, with some deaconesses and the conference superintendent Rev. Francis Pera.

They follow the theme provided by the National leadership of UMYFP which is entitled “Beating the Red Light”. It aims to educate the young people to beat the hindrances in following and service to Christ. And they plan to hold the event in an elementary school in Majayjay, Laguna. It is attended by the conference youth officers with the district officers of the Laguna and of Quezon District with some volunteers from local churches which will compose the staff for the Christmas Institute 2015.

CILT is a venue for the young people to organize the staff for the up coming Christmas Institute an annual youth gathering for United Methodist youth where they can prepare themselves spiritually and with technical stuff.
