Rizal won over STPPAC and by PAC UMM

A sad turn of events for the STPPAC basketball team when they receive two losses one by Rizal PACE team and the other by PAC UMM team last basketball match held in Philippine Christian University Gym in Manila on May 1, 2014.

The STPPAC team played for this event we’re Rev DS Joseph Flores, Floramer Herradura (mission worker in Alabat UMC), Pastor Cris Pera of Pinagbayanan UMC, Pastor Vincent Pacto of Lopez Mission and Brian Monterola a former pastor from San Pablo UMC.

Rizal team we’re former co workers of STPPAC in the now defunct PACE the old Conference which Rizal and Southern Tagalog formerly known as LQMD. STPPAC lacks team reserves while Rizal has a plentiful of available players and Rizal pastors we’re really known for active in Basketball. Rizal also wins over the South Nueva Ecija PAC pastors a newly organized annual conference in the Province of Nueva Ecija and formerly part of MidPAC. The United Methodist Men – the association of laymen in Philippines Annual Conference joins the basketball tournament and wins over the Southern Tagalog Provisional Conference pastors.

The game is part of the Manila Episcopal Area program for pastors in the annual conference under it met for basketball game as sign of camaraderie and fellowship with one another. This is organized by newly appointed district superintendent in PAC Rev. Enrico Esguerra who is also called the “commissioner”. The game was held at the time of the regular session of PAC which was held in Central UMC in Kalaw Ave. in the City of Manila a few blocks away from PCU. The players in this game we’re welcomed in the session of PAC as guests.
