Bishop Rudy Juan visits Southern Tagalog Churches

Bishop Rodolfo Juan of Manila Episcopal Area made his episcopal visit at the Southern Tagalog Philippines Provisional Annual Conference last October 30 – 31, 2013. He visited churches in Quezon Province on October 30 and in Laguna on October 31.

Three congregations in Quezon Province was visited by Bishop Juan which includes Atimonan UMC, Lopez Mission and Calauag UMC. He meet the church members and hears their concerns and requests. He is with DS Dexter Ceballos of Laguna District and DS Joseph Flores of Quezon District. He is also with two pastors Rev. Nazzer Oliveros and Rev. Mervin Anthony Montano both from Atimonan UMC. The bishop also visited the relatives of his wife in Gumaca, Quezon.

In Laguna District, he started to visit San Pablo UMC where they conduct an inaugural service of the new church building which was sponsored by the Korean Methodist Church led by Rev. Shin You Ho. It is one of the three churches the Korean Methodist Church built by the Koreans. He also visited Masapang mission, Pinagbayanan UMC and El Rey UMC in his morning schedule. He met also Rev. Leonora Macaday of Sta. Cruz UMC and Rev. Marven Chavarria of Kalayaan UMC and Siniloan Mission at his visit in El Rey UMC.

After the inaugural service he then proceeded to visit Calamba UMC, Biñan UMC and Pacita UMC in his afternoon itinerary. Church members expressed their appreciation for the visitation of the bishop in their churches.
