Two youth representatives from STPPACE UMYF namely Mae Angela Pealane and Alexis Parco both members of Atimonan UMC attended the 32nd National Youth Conference in Salinungan UMC at San Mateo, Isabela last April 17 – 22, 2012.
Pealane is the incoming Christian Nurture and Formation Department head and Parco was the President of the Quezon District UMYF. They represent the STPPACE UMYF in the highest policy making body of the young people in the Philippines which is the national youth conference. They were accompanied by Rev. Mervin Anthony Montano chair of the Council of Youth Ministries of STPPACE and Rev. Dexter Ceballos the National Youth Coordinator who is from STPPACE.
This conference of the youth elects new set of officers of the biennium 2012 – 2014 and Daele Cancio of Tarlac was elected president. The theme was “Upholding Social Holiness for Leadership Development” engaging the youth towards faith in action. There were some lectures aside from the business session, community exposures and graduation night for UMYF who will now graduate from the organization.
