STPPACE Workers joins MEA wide Workers’ Convocation

Pastors and deaconesses of STPPACE attended the MEA wide Church Worker’s Convocation held at Center for Community Transformation Retreat center in Tagaytay City last February 1 -3, 2012 with the theme “Building up the Body through the ministry of the Word, Ministry and Service”.

This convocation was held through the leadership of Bishop Daniel Arichea Jr. with his cabinet and the MEA office in partnership with the North Georgia Episcopal Area headed by Bishop Bishop B Michael Watson. A lecture about “The United Methodist Way” was delivered by Bishop Watson. Lectures were also held with topics – Biblical Preaching, Bible translations, Pastoral Etiquette, and Wholistic healing.

It was a time for church workers to meet their pastor and deaconess friends from other conferences within the Manila Episcopal Area. It has served as reunion of former friends and former classmates from seminaries.

Quezon District garnered an award because of its complete attendance of its church workers.

Bishop’s wife Ruth Arichea was the administrative officer of the event.
